1099 Vendors/Payments

We have an independent consultant that we must now deduct a court
ordered
payment from his check.

His 1099 form must show the gross payments to him. Is there a way to
enter the
court deduction without it impacting his 1099 form?

We've tried debits. misc charges, etc but they all end up impacting the
1099.
