13 Week Projected Cash Flow - 6.1

Hi,

We are using the base queries from the cash flow. We then export
this to excel and do pivot tables. In which the accounts department
can add manual entries and any budget information and comments. We
are a single company(UK) and look to do cash flow over a greater
period. Basically, in terms of cash flow, vantage can't not hold the
payment schedule. I mean by this, the ERP system can only suggest
when the payment should be made by. Hence the excel stuff which can
pull it together.

My personal experience, with any ERP, that cash flow model should be
independent of the ERP system. In the sense that it can use
information from ERP system but won't generate the desired result in
a single shot. Another however, there is something called Cor-
planning, which we are currently investigating which allows have
greater control and scope. But is on the side of rolling budgets etc
rather than a direct cash flow. But a very good product.

Just as an aside, corvu is a very good product and I would look at
their other products too in terms of performance management if for
just general interest. There is a corvu group in yahoo but hasn't
had much activity recently.

Is anyone out there using a 13 week cash flow model? We have purchased
VBI and are trying to use it to come up with a consolidated 13 week cash
flow model (our database has 4 companies, so we need to combine activity
from all 4). Any assistance/know how would be appreciated!
