2-D barcoding and SSRS - E10.700.4

Would you be willing to take a call on this in about a couple of weeks...we are going live next week and this is not an issue for us right now. We would love to discuss further.

My work email address is manasa@...

Was anyone able to put 2-D barcodes on a SSRS report? If so, what product did you have to use to get this to work?

Thanks! Manasa

SSRS allows the importing of custom assemblies, so we built a DLL then imported into SSRS and then ran code to generate and then place QR codes. Its not terribly difficult.

You can also do a two part process of first generating the QR codes to a predefined location, then have SSRS simply insert them as an image.

SSRS is kinda clunky, but for the most part will allow this. How you plan on using the QR codes might help also. Sometimes its easier to just display them on a screen or something.
