Was anyone able to put 2-D barcodes on a SSRS report? If so, what product did you have to use to get this to work?

SSRS allows the importing of custom assemblies, so we built a DLL then imported into SSRS and then ran code to generate and then place QR codes. Its not terribly difficult.


You can also do a two part process of first generating the QR codes to a predefined location, then have SSRS simply insert them as an image.


SSRS is kinda clunky, but for the most part will allow this. How you plan on using the QR codes might help also. Sometimes its easier to just display them on a screen or something.
