We are a cloud customer with outbound only serial tracking. We have lost the auto-increment functionality when generating Serial Numbers for outbound parts out of the Customer Shipment Entry app after the 2024.2.4 upgrade. Our shipping people have to enter these manually and it has been extremely challenging and time consuming. Anybody with this problem and a way to fix it ?

if this was introduced in 2024.2, then it is likely to be a bug, I would log a case with Epicor support and don’t be fobbed off with the workaround of manually creating.

It seems VERY probable you already checked this, but just in case, did you ensure that nobody switched the part plant serial number setup to be alphanumeric instead of use serial mask? Sometimes the part is setup one way and a part plant serial assignment has gotten out of whack… Just a thought.
