We’re on Epicor Kinetic Cloud, currently 2025.2.10. After moving past 2025.2.7, project-level revenue that we recognize manually no longer shows up in the standard Work In Process report as COS/MFG-VAR. Support has confirmed that as of 2025.2.8, manual recognitions (I believe to be MFG-VAR transactions with VarTarget = MAN) are no longer treated as COS/MFG-VAR on the report.
The revenue itself does post to the GL correctly and can still be seen on the Inventory/WIP Recon report. The problem is that without it showing on the Work In Process report, we no longer have a reliable sub-ledger to reconcile against.
We also have a custom SSRS report that now shows the same behavior, which makes it look like the change is happening in the underlying RDD logic, not just the report style.
Since we’re on Cloud, are we basically boxed in here? We’re waiting on support to confirm whether rolling back is even an option, or if it’s possible to get an RDD from 2025.2.7 that could be ported into 2025.2.10 without running into version issues.
We do have an active support case open, but in the meantime we’re trying to understand what other options might exist while we wait for guidance.
