I spent way too much time trying to fix this issue and finally veified is a problem. I need someone in 2025.2 and or 2026 to verify if this issue is still around.
Setup is quite easy.
Kinetic Grid bound to a BAQ DataView
The BAQ needs to have several fields marked as Updatable but the grid itself cannot be updatable.
Bind the grid to the data view, and use Provider Model BAQ with (or without defined columns) enable Server Paging.
I’ve repeated again and again, the Grid displays visually the column but the selec statement passed into ExcuteBAQ is missing any updatable fields (excluding Order By fields).
Can someone please double check me here I want ot open a ticket and yada yada but I’m hoping its fixed already.
Tried in 2026.100.7 and i cannot replicate your behavior…
Tried Basic App Wizard marking as not allowed update and also went into the grid model and unticked editable.
Also tried a non wizard, manually creating the view, grid bound to the view and provider model set with server page which also worked. noticed that this made it editable even though Editable was not ticked so ticked and unticked it and is now not editable but still get all fields.
I want ot open a ticket and yada yada but I’m hoping its fixed already.
