2025.2 release date for on prem?

I didn’t see anything posted here. It’s October already!

2024.2 wasn’t released for on-prem until November of last year. Could be another month or so before we see it.

Oh, OK, I forgot that. We just dodged the 2-year deadline for 2023.2 support which expires this month. (We upgraded to 2024.2 this past weekend.) So I had October on the brain.

2026.2 will come out in January 2027 at this rate…

November 14th - 16th 2025 is the upgrade date for 2025.2 unless you Flex.

He’s talking about on-prem. There is no schedule for on-prem. You upgrade whenever you want.

It always used to be October for the .2 release. Not sure what happened last year. Maybe we will see it yet this month. But guessing it may be November again.

Sure, but I imagine @JillMetalworks 's cloud timeline gets in the ballpark for on-prem, no?

I have Oct 16 from one of the Epicor Webinars about it:

Awesome, thank you.

Oh I just realized you said October - not November. So in two days? But they are not saying much in announcements?

Interesting since 2025.2 is still in pilot for Cloud.

I guess so, that was from a webinar Sept 17 I believe, IIRC it was the one announcing 2025.2, the updates, etc. Maybe an Epicor employee can chime in to confirm that is still the plan, it is possible they have changed it, whole ‘safe harbor’ deal but that is the last date I know of.

Scroll down the page, and (confusingly) in the Availability Matrix, in the “On-Prem GA” column next to “Kinetic Cloud”, it also says October 16.

That’s confusing. They list Kinetic Cloud but then say On-Prem GA.

Yeah, it the past they would release to GA after .3 or .4. But honestly, why wait? Get more user input. :person_shrugging:

Odd they are releasing on-prem before cloud. Not sure they’ve done that before.

I see 2025.2 is now available with .4 on EpicWeb.

Documentation isn’t there yet. Just the code and the Installation documentation (What’s New, Update Guide, etc.)

And it is for @Hally!

Apparently, Chrome doesn’t like the Kinetic Power Tools solution:

Hopefully Epicor can make it redundant ASAP!
