4GL code to call an RB report

Be careful of using RUNTIME parameters in your filter. My conclusion is
that it makes record selection occur on the PC rather than the server and
your report really bogs down. They way around this is to overwrite the
filter.

Andy,

Check out the source code section in Yahoo Groups "Files". There are
a couple of programs that call the Report Builder engine.

Hi guys,

Would anyone be prepared to give me a piece of example 4GL code that will prompt the user for a couple of parameters, then pass these paramenters to a Report Builder report and run it? I've never used or even looked at 4GL before, I just need a little kickstart :-)

Thanks in anticipation
