4Gl sort records before processing

You could do something like:
FOR EACH JobHead EXCLUSIVE-LOCK WHERE JobHead.Company = CUR-COMP BY
JobHead.StartDate BY Number01.
END.

If you wanted to sort in a descending order on either the start date or
numeric field then you would put DESCENDING after the field, eg: BY
JobHead.StartDate DESCENDING. You will also need to add in the resource
group selection criteria.

I'm not so sure because I think you are need a index to do the sort.

I want to create a BPM that pulls in all jobs for a resource group.
It then needs to sort them by Start Date then a UD Numeric field.
Finally I want to process the records in that order creating a running total from the UD field and stamping it on the current record.

Does this sound feasible using a BPM?
