Ned, do you need the 8.03.400 D&L? I can email it to you. Email me
directly.
Otherwise, it's not difficult coming up with a "DELETE FROM xxxxx" script
listing every table. Query the zDataTable table for a list of tables and
concatenate a string together within the query's results to give you a
DELETE FROM for every table.

I know it does for 8.03, but I only have the ASCII D&L Kit for version 6.1
on Progress 9.1.

Ned -
I believe if you follow the instructions in the binary dump & load, the
instructions have you create a blank database from the current database
structure.

Subject: [Vantage] 4GL with Progress 9.1 - Delete all table contents
So, does anyone have any good ways to completely blank a database in
Progress 9.1?
I am working on a project to do a dump and load, but I can't use the
standard empty database because the customer has some custom tables, fields,
and indexes, and if I manually recreate them then there ends up being a CRC
mismatch with the program.
I know I can manually write out a script to clear the contents of each table
individually, but if I can save my own time, and save them some money if
someone has already done something like this?
I will probably be using either the truncate or the delete command, I am
just not sure if there is an easier way to do all tables versus wiring them
all out one by one in a script.
I would look to Epicor, but there is no maintenance contract anymore, so
it's not an option to work with them.
