W98 works on 6.0, but the min sys req stated in 6.1 do not include W98 or
NT.

Going to 6.0 this weekend (support is going to be busy with all these
upgrades). Why would Win98 not work? It is still Progress 9.1D same as
5.2. I did hear, however, that Sonoma will require at least XP for the
clients for .Net compatibility since they will be mainly just a viewer with
little client level processing. Clients may also need lots more memory
(1GB) for Sonoma. But until then I'm planning to use our plain old Celeron
500's with 64MB and Win98 on shop floor.

We are also going from 5.0 to 6.0/6.1. I heard some folks are running 6.1
on NT and W98. I will be testing it here once the new server is installed
and I get test databases running.

We are also going to do the Upgrade from 5.1 to 6.0. We thought
client workstation requirements for 6.1 were Windows 2000 or XP?
Is this not true? Is anyone running 6.1 and using Windows NT on
client workstations?
