What that does is “deduct” that amount or percent from the net pay. I’m not sure if 5.2 allows it, but in 6.1 you can do multiple direct deposits to different accounts, so for example
you can set it up to send $10 to a savings account and then 100% of the net to a checking account. Also, you can “Electronic Deposit” other deductions as well – for instance, we set our
HSA up that way too, then it gets deducted and direct deposited right to the individual’s HSA account at the bank.
It works very well, the problem is that Vantage didn’t create a direct deposit file in the proper format to send or upload to the bank. I had Epicor write a custom program to get a
file in the correct format, others on the list have written it themselves, and I think someone else found a shareware program to get it into the proper format.

For 6.1 anyway, on the DEDUCTION for the Direct Deposit code you create, there is a check mark for Electronic Deposit.
Not sure if it is that way for 5.2 – but hopefully so!

We are finally switching to direct deposit. Does anyone know where in 5.2 I can edit the check to alw ays print VOID on it. I vague ly remember not being able to edit this check, but I would of thought I would be able to do this..
