5.2 to 6.0 upgrade-effect on users

We just had 6.0 training. We are currently on 5.1. I felt that we needed
proper training with Eng Workbench and Job Entry. If your already on 5.2
and going to 6.0 I don't think the jump is near as large. I think the
training was well worth it. We spent 50% of the week learning new features
and the rest working on outstanding issues. I know the training will pay
for itself in a short time. We found several new features such as Setup
Grouping that will save us $$$ immediately. We use Uplink for our training
and I can't phrase them enough.

We are upgrading to 6.0 from 5.2 this weekend. Our users have not
had access to any training. I am told by the implementation guru
that there is no really functionality changes. He says the user's
will not see any major changes and they will pick it up easily Monday
morning. Does anybody have thoughts on this issue? We have had
problems in previous upgrades and I am concerned about this one.

I upgraded our database from 5.2 to 6.0 about a month ago, and we
didn't do any training with the users. There really aren't any
functionality changes...just some nice new features (Quick Order &
Job Entries). If your users have been using Vantage for any length
of time, the upgrade should not be a big deal. I totally agree with
your "implementation Guru."
