Exactly what do you mean by overlapping operations and what problem does the overlapping operations issue cause?

A question for anyone running Global Finite Scheduling (GFS) in 6.1 -- do you run MRP to create unfirmed jobs, then GFS to finite schedule all the jobs and then Generate Purchasing Suggestions to create purchasing suggestions based on how the jobs were rescheduled during GFS? We are kind of confused on the exact process.

Also, any problems that anyone has run into with GFS that would make us think twice about using it?
