6.1 on NT Server

I've called them a couple times, they told me I should be aware that NT is
no longer supported, but they went ahead and answered my trouble ticket. I
think if they suspect the problem having anything to do with the OS, they
have the right to refuse support.

troubles for not being on 2000 or 2003 server? Thanks.

I live in this scenario, I have needed to call Vantage Support and,
according to my experience, the answer to your second question is a definite
"yes". However, I believe this has far more to do with the particular
person you happen to contact in Support than it has to do with Epicor's
official policy regarding system requirements.

I updated to Vantage 6.1 while NT was supported by MS. Now, I believe MS
extended the support to December, 2004 so we should be OK. By the way, I
have minor issues overall with 6.1 and NT and when I call support, I just
give them the Vantage version and patch - not anything else. So far, no one
has asked.
