6.1 Scheduling Override

Hi,

I think the answer it is not possible, as the move and que hours are
set at the workcentre level(6.1). This would be a great feature to able
to set move and que hours at the part/job level.

The other option is create dummy workcentres which are backflushed.

You may have a look APS or V8 to see if there is any improvements. I
think APS may be overkill.

We some have parts that run continuously in our job shop. We set up
job quantites to what can be made in one week. However, when backward
scheduling these jobs, instead of showing it takes 5 days to make, it
schedules 42 days. This throws off our purchasing timing for materials
needed. Is there a way to override the que hours and move hours in a
specific job without affecting other jobs? How can we make the
scheduling more realistic?
