[6.10] Minimum Screen Size and OS for Terminal Service

Todd beat me to the punch, this is what I recommend as well.

They have forktruck mounts available for these.

We are using them to RDP to our Terminal Server so they can run either MES or Regular Vantage sessions. The screen size/resolution is perfect.

We are looking at some forklift mounted PCs for inventory movements. For Vantage 6.10 I can't recall the minimum screen size. Most of the rugged models I've been seeing are 640 X 480 and I can't recall if Vantage requires at least 800 X 600 or not. These would be running just Shop Data Collection.

Also, I suspect I'll opt for a solid state thin client route rather than a full PC. The one I am most interested in (Teklogix 8515) runs Windows Embedded CE 5.0. Anyone know if I can run an RDP session from that?

May I recommend tablets from DT Research. We use these on over 15
forklifts for AMM. Connecting via rdp for terminal services.

We are looking at some forklift mounted PCs for inventory movements. For
Vantage 6.10 I can't recall the minimum screen size. Most of the rugged
models I've been seeing are 640 X 480 and I can't recall if Vantage
requires at least 800 X 600 or not. These would be running just Shop
Data Collection.

Also, I suspect I'll opt for a solid state thin client route rather than
a full PC. The one I am most interested in (Teklogix 8515) runs Windows
Embedded CE 5.0. Anyone know if I can run an RDP session from that?
