Try to use another keyboard combination for clearing a field. Usually if
you just do something like a SHIFT-END (holding down the shift key and
pushing end) it should highlight the value for you and then the next input
will overwrite the existing value. I haven't used Macro Express, but I've
done this with AutoIT quite a few times.
Hope this helps,

Subject: [Vantage] 8.0.3.404a customization and field properties?
Hello,
Is there a way to change the Labor date field on the Labor adjustment
screen so that it does not default with today's date? I am trying to run
a labor adjustment Macro using Macro Express and I need an empty field
to paste data into. In earlier version F8 would clear out a field I have
not discovered a keyboard shortcut in this version
Thanks,
