Patty - We have 404A and we run Global Rescheduling. After our upgrade
from 305, I was unaware of the added feature, "Calculate Global
Scheduling Order" and its need to be run before running Global
SCheduling. Our Scheduling Boards were empty also. After running both
Calculate Global SCheduling Order and then Global Scheduling, all
Scheduling Baords were populated. Be aware that if you have any
Overlapping operations, it currently appears that 404A has a problem
handling that situation like it did in 305. But we are still testing
Global Scheduling and hopefully we can resolve this issue. If anyone
has successfully used overlapped operations with Global Scheduling,
please contact me.

On 8.03.404A, has anyone ran Global Scheduling?

I ask because I ran it and then open anyone of the three scheduling
boards and it shows nothing; however, load is there as I ran Priority
Dispatch and it appears the scheduling engine did what it was supposed
to do...but the scheduling boards are blank.

Oh and I should mention we are using APS - Capabilities and we are SQL.

We are on 404 and our load (at least some of it) does show in the scheduling boards.

You need to run "Generate Shop Capacity" at least once as the scheduling boards read the Load table (rather than directly reading JobOper & JobOpDtl).

Beware: Last time I tried to run it, the whole system hung and we had to shutdown and restart. (It worked fine on 403C and various 305 releases).

Oh and I should mention we are using APS - Capabilities and we are SQL.
