8.03.408 on Server 2008 or 2012

This is the unsupported registry tweak that works for us.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Java VM --> EnableJIT = 0

Also, in the properties settings of your server in PET, make sure "Reconnect at startup" is NOT checked.

Epicor says neither are supported. Is anyone running 8.03.408 on either server 2008 or 2012? Also any opinions on ReFS in 2012 with progress?

I had a test server running 9.05.700c on 2008 R2 - I did an in place upgrade to Server 2012 and Epicor still runs....
Hi there,

We have been running 8.03.408B on 2008R2 since March with no issues. They may say not supported, but it doesn't necessarily mean it won't run.

Best regards,

Bill

I'm running 8.03.408A Progress on 2008 R2 Enterprise with no problems. There is a registery hack you need to get the Progress Explorer tool to work on 2008.
