OK we have Crystal Reports IX R2 .Net 3.0 Runtime but I don't know about the  (03_05_2008) I'll check. Thanks

Upgraded to windows 8.1 and when we print we get error. If we ignore it we can keep working but otherwise Epicor closes each time. Tried running Epicor in compatability mode but doesn't seem to help . Anyone else running on windows 8.1?

I am running 8.1 Pro with Vantage 8.03.405a Printing with no problems.


This was an in-place upgrade from Windows 7 to 8 then from 8 to 8.1.

I only have it installed on 2 workstations, one was an upgrade from 7 and was a new pc.

The only thing I did do was turn on Dot net framework 3.5 (which includes 2.0 and 3.0) in "Turn Windows features on or off" on the new install of Windows 8.1

On my windows 7 machine it worked as before the upgrade with no modification at all, I do admit that I was pleasantly surprised that it worked straight away.

The version of crystal runtime we are using is Crystal Reports IX R2 .Net 3.0 Runtime (03_05_2008)

You need to update your crystal reporst run time to Crystal Reports IX R2 .Net 3.0 Runtime (03_05_2008). Just google it and download onto the client machine and it will work fine.
