8.03.409a Issues

So far I have three outstanding issues with 409a:
1) Method Trackers showing only first level assemblies
2) "value does not match the mask" for some customers in customer tracker (not in customer maintenance)
3) Invoice not allowing negative misc. charges. (recently posted as fixed)

Nigel's fix from below fixed issue 2 for a couple of customers. The issue came up again today, and again the conversion fixed it. Makes me think something else is wrong causing this issue to repeat.

I've seen this in the part master for quite a few versions, but never the customer tracker.

On that note, has anyone tried to use the demand mass review in 409A? It appears the Demand Entry button on this form is broken.

Have a look at the Financial | Credit | Credit Detail tab. By any chance does "Open Invoices" or "Open Orders" show a negative number? That's where we've had the problem.

If so, open the Vantage Admin Tools on your server and run Conversion 9527 "Set Credit Limit Totals". You can run it while users are logged in but it does slow down Vantage a bit.

I often see messages about running various conversions in Vantage Admin Tools. Is there a list somewhere of these conversions and what they are used for?

Linda, not that I am aware. Usually it takes some experience working with tech support and/or generally reading the description when you go into admin tools/conversions programs to figure it out
