We had stood firm on 8.03.408B for about a
year. Each of the subsequent upgrades caused
more problems than they were worth.
We mounted 8.03.409C and tested it
extensivly. We found that it had only a few
fixes to problems found in 408B. The Quoting
support utilities are just as scrwed up as they
ever were. Vendor RFQ is still a non-starter.
There is a schema change so be sure to mount the SP first, then the C patch.
The upgrade ran without a hitch and the code has
performed "as expected" for Vantage in the 2 months since upgrading.
If you have a specific functional concern, e-mail
me at bcarlson@... and I'll either give you
a rendition of our experience or test the function for you.
