Michael,
I've had extensive experience with the Vantage 8.00/8.03 SDK and
have provided onsite technical education to Epicor VARS and customers
on using the SDK. There are many pre-requisites to using the SDK,
including software purchases and individual software experience.
Depending on how you intend to use the SDK, the built in Tools
(Customization Engine, BAQ, BAM, BPM, Report Data Definitions/Crystal,
ect.) should allow you to almost anything.
