We had a client crash on a user machine and upon restarting the client and logging back in, Epicor now shows two companies in the main menu. One is a TEST company that should never show up and the other is our actual PRODUCTION company. I rebooted, uninstalled-reinstalled the client, but it still shows both. I went to another machine and logged on as this same user and it is messed up there as well which leads me to believe this is a server side issue, not client-side. Does anyone know how to get rid of companies that should not show up in the Main Menu?? In all my years working with Epicor, I’ve never see this happen. Thanks in advance!
Check his user file and make sure he doesn’t have a new company showing up there?
Also look at the UserFile record via BAQ and see what shows up in the companies field
Jose,
The user had two companies setup in her user profile and never knew it. The base layout got screwed up when her client crashed and when it showed up after, she thought something was wrong. I simply removed the other company from her user account and reset the base layout and everything is good now. Thanks for your help!
