9.05 conversion problems with BAQ's and Custom data definitions

Hey Michael,

We're in the middle of the same upgrade, 9.04.507A to 9.05.702A (just got the patch yesterday). When I first converted my database to the 702 patch, about 30% of my customizations required re-writing of some type. BAQs and BAQ reports converted with far fewer problems (90% or better worked straight up), but most of my modified RDD reports needed medium to major work.

Think of it as tech support job security.

That's actually fairly common, and it's part of the testing process.

That kind of upgrade has some pretty extensive schema changes, which is what
is messing up those BAQs, Customizations, and data definitions and reports.

Time, Testing, and Manual updating is about the extent of the solutions I
know of for these problems.
