Yes, I expect you can use a TIE map to send back an 855 based on what is sent in as the 850 – if you want to accept what they send in.  Otherwise, you should be able to use the RDD for the Sales Order to generate a text file (similar to what is done for the 856 and 810 at least in Vantage 8.03.409c) and then have a Tie map to map from the text file to EDI.  A third option can be using custom code to output the needed data and then use a Tie map.
