Just an FYI, don't use a regular workstation for the schema and DB
conversions.
I assume you have installed the 64-bit version of 9.05 with 64-bit OpenEdge,
if not and you are still going to use the 32-bit version of Epicor 9.05 then
you should still be able to run the schema and conversions on that server.
You should install the 32-bit version of OpenEdge on another server,
preferably one connected to the same switch as your Epicor Server. Running
it from a standard windows workstation will kill your performance and add an
incredibly high amount of time to your whole process.

If you start to upgrade a test database from 904 to 905 you need to call
support first. We tried with their installation guide for a week with no
results, then the guy in Epicor Tech Support started helping and basically
nothing he told us to do was in the install/upgrade guide. We are upgrading
this weekend and have to do the entire schema change and DB conversions on a
32 bit Windows client, because our server is X64. It kind of stinks not to
be able to use the horsepower of the new kicking DB server to upgrade the
DB.
They also have a new install guide that was updated last Friday. Make sure
you get that one.

That worked thanks for the advise.
Little worried on how well 605 will run in general if they can't even get
the install package to work without tweaks.

Epicor.
is missing. Also Admin Tools, and Schema Change will not open. I get no
errors on the installs and it looks like it completes. Also If I try to run
the client from a 32-bit Win 7 machine I get a slew of errors that would
require a screen shot. I've tried calling support a couple of times but all
I get is the voicemail box after being on hold for 10 minutes.
