A message from Joe Jasper

Tim,

Are you suggesting that end users should not hire consultants that do not
have a business partnership agreement with Epicor ?

Or, are you suggesting that if a consultant does not have a "Business
partnership agreement" with Epicor that they are in some way not qualified ?

No BS intended ... I'm just not clear what a "Business partnership
agreement" does for mankind ... Can you explain what is required for a
consultant to attain this status ?

Correction:

The only 3rd party organizations with a business partnership agreement with
eManufacturing are:

1. TKS (in Canada)
2. eBridge
3. Caesar Development

In conjunction with Vantage becoming the flagship ERP for Epicor, more and
more 3rd party organizations are popping up to offer services for Vantage.
I want to communicate that there are no 3rd party consulting organizations
currently certified as a business partner on Vantage. Over the past year we
have regionalized Vantage Consulting and now have Consultants positioned
throughout the United States.

Sr. Director of Vantage Support.

Okay, Tim, what prompted this message?
What, exactly, is a certified business partner?

Steve,

No doubt "The 'key' to Vantage problems..." Since Epicor
now has Vantage consultants they'd probably rather not see
third-parties competing with them on this list. Good thing
this is not their list.

have fun,
John

I would bet that a lot of the "consulting" that the 3rd parties
do involves programming. Vantage consultants don't do that.
It takes a very long time to get just a quote on a custom program
from Epicor. This is where the 3rd parties are filling in. If
the need wasn't there "more and more" wouldn't be doing it.

There are however, authorized 3rd Party Solution Providers for Vantage.
I just wanted to make sure that was clear as well.

I woul have to say that if other knowledeable people are able to perform
programming and stick buy there work. I don';t think i would have a problem
going somewhere else. It's not that i want to, however evertime a new
version of vantage comes out i have to pay $2000.00 for each custom mod i
had made. I know that in some cases there is no way i costs this much.
