A/R Aging Missing 1 Customer

Running 10.0.700.3 and suddenly now one customer is missing from the report. He has plenty of invoices and I don’t see anything unusual in customer maintenance.

This is almost always a result of one of two conditions:

  1. User doesn’t have View All Territories OR

  2. User does have View All Territories but is set as an Authorized User for one Sales Rep. If you set one, you have to set them all or none, otherwise you only see the ones that you’re authorized on.

OK, its’ actually working OK in the 2 month old TEST database but not in LIVE. All of the settings you mentioned are identical in both databases. Actually none of the workforce people have View all Territories checked. They have CRM but only the one territory. Is it possible that one of the recent sales orders or invoices is causing this somehow?

Only one territory in the whole database?

Do the Workforce entries have the identical authenticated users?

Identical

And if you create a BAQ just listing all customers, you see the same behavior?

For all users, or just Workforce people?

Can you still view the invoices in Invoice Tracker?

  • All Users (I’m even using System Manager along with others)
  • Only difference I just saw was they had added 2 additional “Ship Tos” to the six this customer already had.

And the Territories on those Ship-Tos are set to the only territory?

  • Yes, all the same (only) territory. I can print a customer statement and all the invoices show up. Just not on the Aged Receivables Report for this one customer.
  • I’m sure it must have something to do with these new ship tos but I don’t see what it could be or why

Well, this is a tough one Greg. I’m sure you’re right about those ship-tos. There’s got to be something different there… Might have to wait for Epicor to take a crack at this one!

Best,

Mark W.

Thanks for the help

Just to check…The customer master for the missing customer has all the
“valid” checkboxes on like the ones that do show up.

Brad

I cannot see any differences from other customers. Anything in particular I should look for?

I forgot if you answered this. Did you create a BAQ with customers? Do you see the missing customer in the list? If so, maybe the issue is not territories but the AR report?

Mark W.

Not sure what you mean here. We are using the standard SSRS A/R Aging report. This is something that was working fine for months if not years and now is just not pulling this one customer’s invoices into the report. Are you saying to find the system “z” BAQ and check that?

do a baq to invchead for that customer and verify the invoices have paydate, payamount and due date

Thanks, that was it, a single invoice with a $0.00 .

I also had this problem. By changing the Due Date in “posted Invoice Update”, this paydate field was repopulated.
