When you’re receiving from a job…

The From Warehouse/Bin should be tied to whatever “Resource” the operation is tied to on the job.

Operation on the job… last Op is for Inspection:

Here’s the Warehouse/Bin assigned to that Resource:

Potential caveat, this is using Advanced Materials Management… so, not sure how this works if you don’t have that.

No operation for this job. Only material.

That is probably the problem then. No Operation means that the system does not know where it is going.

umm… not sure how that works then. Each operation has a scheduled resource tied to it. Each resource has a Warehouse/Bin tied to it. When you issue material TO a job, you’re issuing it to a resource.

When you Receive the finished product FROM a job, you’re receiving it FROM a resource.

Again, we have the AMM module, so I’m not sure how it is supposed to work if you don’t have that module… but I don’t know why you would have a job with no operations.

Can you explain why you have a job at all if you’re not “doing anything”?

Not really a JOB without an operation.

Yes, I’m just issuing the materials and performing the Job Receipt to Inventory

For what purpose? Are you using this to convert the end Part Number?

I would just add a dummy operation so there is something to bounce the qty in and out of.

Are you able to issue material to the job?

yes David, I added the dummy operation, and I can see the warehouse and bin now.
