Ability to Identify a Form already open (Vantage 8.03.409C)

We are have issues with TimePhase. Or what seems to be from TimePhase. For instance:

A user opens Job Entry and then right-clicks on the Part and selects TimePhase. Some times an error will occur immediately; or hours later while TimePhase is still open but they are not doing anything in it actively; or the user is doing something completely out of Vantage but the Job Entry and TimePhase forms are still open. The error is the "Object not set to a reference" message. This seems almost random but the fact that specific users are the only ones getting the error.

If the user selects TimePhase from the Main Menu then they don't get the problem.

More food for thought. I have an extensive customization on the Job entry, BUT this problem has come up in the last year while I have had the customization active longer than that.

There is no way to the best of my knowledge to block SHIFT click, Epicor by default uses the Process Tower to see if a form is open and if it is it will use it instead. SHIFT was put in place to bypass this behavior.

Just out of curiosity why would you want to block this?

Thanks!

I had this same problem. I ended up removing the SHIFT keys from all users’ keyboards.
