Active task does not show any records

In Kinetic, active tasks are not displaying any records in the System Monitor, even after refreshing several times. The only way to see them is by selecting ‘Show All Activity.’ However, we do not want to view other users’ activities—we only want to see our own activities, but no records appear under the Active Tasks tab

This is a bug. I’ll find my listed PRB and share it here. EpicCare mentioned to be resolved in 2026.1 (June)

Edit: PRB0308562

Ope you’re right, I was confusing it with a Supplier Tracker issue we ran into during the same period. This is the response I received:

Hello Billy,

This is Priya. ERPS-300903 has been issued for this problem and accepted by Development. It is currently being worked on, so a target is not yet available.

Further developments will be tracked through the above number. Article KB0106088, attached to the case, gives instructions on how to do this. Once this case is closed, you can login to EpicCare and track this number through “My Open Problems.”

Yeah my bad, looks like there is no timeline. I have been using Classic System Monitor LOL. Bad I know, but it works. Combining that with our recent reporting issues, I keep classic SysMon up all day recently.

but Epicor does not support classic until 2016, June right?

26.1 classic support ends. So ~ May/June of this year.

Yes, support ends soon. All we can do is submit EpicCare tickets and hope it’s fixed in a timely manner. Most are not.

If anyone else sees this I’d submit a ticket. The more tickets the better.

I see it - submitted a ticket. Menu security takes 2:28.28 seconds and the Active Tasks is never updated. The report eventually previews. But no Active Tasks are shown.

I have reported this problem multiple times over the last 4 years. The problem appears to persist in 25.2.

But of course we all have our hand rolled System Tasks Dashboard that resolves this situation.. right?

The there is the Blazor one, because, we could…

Then there’s the React one… and the…

And of course we set the refresh to whatever the minimum we can set it to just to make sure we get everything as quickly as possible…

Then we complain about system performance… then… then…

a stuffed dog is laying down in a field with flowers and trees in the background

we enjoy our good friend Dougal doing laps.

Once again… Unacceptable… Please just fix your broken things… Works in Classic, it should work in Kinetic by now.
