Adapter Question

Robert,
Is it possible to use Search.listlookup using as a parameter a BAQ
instead of adapter?

If no - then I have next question - How to create my own adapter? (Not
using SDK)

Good afternoon,

I am looking for a way to filter results using the employee basic
adapter. By default it returns all employees. I am hoping to have a
dropdown return only active shop employees.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I assume you mean SEARCH adapter: Write a single table BAQ against the employee table and include whatever criteria you feel is appropriate to only return active employees.

Make it global and move all your included columns into the BAQ 'like' column section so it can be used as a search.

You can then use it as the basis of a named search in your app and, if you want, even make it the default search and/or a search that autoexecutes on load.

Hint: It is a good practice to include columns that you might occasionally use to do some sub selection within the search results after clicking on & sorting those columns in ascending or descending order.

Good afternoon,

I am looking for a way to filter results using the employee basic

adapter. By default it returns all employees. I am hoping to have a

dropdown return only active shop employees.

Thanks in advance for any help.
