Add a hyperlink to a form

Delcare a class level System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabel

private System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabel MyLink;

Add a regular Tool to your vantage form in the locaito where you'd like your
link.
tkae note of the Location, and Size*
*
Remove it,
Then on initialize custom code put

MyLink.AutoSize = true;
MyLink.Location = new System.Drawing.Point(68, 102);
MyLink.Name = "MyLink";
MyLink.Size = new System.Drawing.Size(56, 13);
MyLink.TabIndex = 0;
MyLink.TabStop = true;
MyLink.Text = "Click Here";
MyLink.LinkClicked += new
System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventHandler(this.MyLink_LinkClicked);

Set the Size and Location to the ones you noted.

Find the control which will be the parent and grab a hold of it and the
MyLink as a control.

Make sure that on click event you do the following

private void MyLink_LinkClicked(object sender, LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs
e)
{
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("http://yourURL.com");
}

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you can't get it to work and I'll try to help further.

v9.05 - is there a way to place a hyperlink on a form to a web site or file location? For example on the Part maintenance form to a vendor site or specification. I tried the TextBox and Label, looking for a hyperlink property but it isn't there.

Thanks in advance.

LinkLabel control, you have to do it in the code. If you'd like i'll set an
example for you in a while.
