The MES Work Queue is a great tool but under utilized. I find it much easier to understand than the Priority Dispatch Report that is in the Application. It would be a huge improvement if Epicor added this to the Application.
Similar to the Material Queue Manager in the AMM module, if the Work Queue was available in the Application, Supervisors/Managers would be able to better manage/assign the work for the day and/or shift. Additionally, adding the feature to assign the work from the Work Queue (from within the application) directly to employees would be awesome. Therefore, when the Employee checks the Work Queue from the Data Collection Console, they see exactly what has been assigned to them and directly clock into the work.

I like this for those supervisors & managers to see things from their desks.
The data in the Queue is the data in the [Erp].[ResourceTimeUsed] table. We made a multi-tab dashboard from a simple BAQ of that table. And editable version could accomplish the assignments I would think.
A quick query here on that table name provided lots of results for projects similar to what you are asking for.
(Don’t get me wrong - I like having it part of Epicor’s code so I don’t have to have a customization 
)
