Adding a tab page to Part Advisor

Hi all. Before 2023.1.5, I had added a custom “Available” tab in the Part Advisor menu structure. It looks like Part Advisor got a bit of a face lift and my TabPage is no longer present post-upgrade. Other aspects of my modification are still present like custom events and a view, but the actual tab page is nowhere to be seen.

Now that I’m trying to re-add the tab page, I cannot manage to make it visible in the left-hand menu tree. See my application map below:

I was able to add it to the tab strip on the Details tab page, but still no reference to it in the tree. What am I doing wrong?

[edit]I’ve also tried create a new layer and adding the tab page there, but it didn’t help.[/edit]

Seems jacked up. I couldn’t get it to work either, however, it worked fine in ABC Code.
Might be just an issue with Part Advisor.

Not sure if this is a sufficient workaround for you, but you could add a tab with the rest of them down here:

Yeah, that’s what I ended up doing. Just a bummer I can’t add it to the tree.

I learned the hard way to not add the page first.

If I add a tab it cannot find the new page I had previously buit.

If I add the tab and then choose create new page from the drop down it works.

Thank you for the tab idea! I could not get the application to find my page no way no how before I did that.

Running into the same issue with Receipt Entry

If I add a new page it does not show up on the tree.

If I add it to the tab it comes up blank. I do not see the controls.

I added the page when adding a tab to the tab strip using – Add New Page –

But it does not seem to matter how I create the page, there or on its own. It does not show up. The irony is that the page previews when you select it in the tabstrip control but when you preview the application its a blank screen
