Hello,
Is there a way to add the “per container” from part Maintenance onto our Job Traveler.?
Yes, BUT (and there’s always a BUT)…
Does anyone at your company know how to use (or want to learn how to use) the SSRS reporting functionality?
Modifying the printed reports (like the Job Traveler) is done using that.
YES I would love to learn this. is there a good place to go to show me how to do it?
Start at the Epicor Learning Center (ELC), and search for courses with “SSRS” in their name (especially the video ones to begin). They aren’t too long, and will hopefully begin to bring together some of the terms and processes you’ll need.
Then come back here and look around, search for things like “Job Traveler SSRS” or “adding report fields”, searching itself is one of the darker arts and if you’re good at it you’ll only see a few hundred irrelevant items in your results instead of thousands.
And ask questions! I’m not any good at all with reporting, but there are LOTS of folks here who are, and if you can craft a good specific question (HINT… “specific” is kinda critical… it’s hard to answer open-ended questions in a big text box… so include the version you’re on, the report you want to mess with, whether it is the out-of-the-box report or one that someone else has already messed with, things like that). then hopefully someone can give you a good specific answer.
We’re mostly friendly most of the time
Good luck!

If you don’t have an account, check with your internal Epicor admin (try your IT department or you Finance department, somebody ought to be able to point you in the right direction).
LOL Thank you Ernie!
Ms. Tanya: There are a few YouTube demo’s on how to adda field.
Here is one I did a while ago - it is for the Pack Slip - however the process is still the same. How to add a field to an SSRS Pack Slip
