Adding Last Transaction Date on Stock Status Report

wrong.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm trying to show the last transaction date on the Stock Status Report
but I can't seem to find the field that displays it. So far I've added
the PartTrans table to the report and add the TransDate field in the
report but it shows all transaction dates for each part (huge report).
What can I do to show only the last transaction date for a part?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dave
Try this:

When you add your Relationships for the PartTran table, go to the
Relationships--List tab (as opposed to the Relationships--Detail tab)
and find the column titled "Which Item" and type Last.

Refer to the following information pasted here from the Vantage Help
on the "Which Item" column:

Which Item
The individual table records from which you will pull data. There are
three options you can enter in this field:

Each - All the table records will be pulled through this relationship.

First - Only the first table record will be pulled through this
relationship.

Last - Only the last table record will be pulled through this
relationship.

I tried the "last" option in the relationship but it's still showing
all transaction dates instead of just the last transaction date. We
don't use Lot Tracking so that's not an option. Any other
suggestions? I'm really stuck at this point.

You can also put the transaction date in the footer of the report, it
should only show the last date.

The Part table is part of the original report so I can not be made a
child table. I can only make tables that I added child tables.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Dave,

I'm not sure how you have the report structured, but, if you put the
transaction date from the PartTran table in the report footer, it will
only show the last date. Also if you put it in the report header, it
will only show the first transaction date. If you have groups, you
would need to put it in the group footer. I was assuming you were using
Crystal, but now that I re-read your first post, you didn't say that.
