# Adding UD Fields

Engineering has about 150 attributes they want to add to the UD Part Table.  
We currently already have about 50 added fields already.  
Just thought Id check to see if you see any issue adding an additional 150-200 fields to the UD part table  
Or do you have any other suggestions.

I don’t know if there are practical limits for extending built-in tables. If there are - and you find yourself approaching them - you could use a UD table with the partnum as a key field.

@mnewman Adding should not be an issue, but have you looked into Part Dynamic Attributes that is built-in?

Thank you @gpayne , I wasn’t aware of this option, I am not sure if this will work or not, but I will look into it further.

We have a table that currently has 373 UD fields and see no issues with adding more.
