you have to create you database configuration entries -
DefaultConfiguration - DefaultServerGroup.
They dont just show up... You'll have to disable Progress ProService and
enable Progress AdminService.
I'll locate my techdoc and forward it to you directly.

When installing Vantage 5.0 on my test system, everything seems ok until I
try and use Progress Explorer to connect to the database. When I try and
start the AdminService I get a error telling me that it couldn't start and
that it didn't return an error. Has anyone else had this problem? The
system has W2k Pro SP2 and IE 5.5.
