Ads

My wife is on an e-groups listing called bird_bs. The ads started coming
in two nights ago. She has made grevious complaints to me. I'll have to
tell her about Caesar Development Services, LLC.

Kudos again, Caesar.

PS Those of you who STILL use MS products like LookOut Express should get
with the program-Install Eudora 4.3 shareware. All graphical attachments
come in as "text only." That makes it a whole lot easier to skip past the
"unwanted garbage." One drawback-IT's AD-SPONSORED-something I can deal
with quite well, since it's just a litte square in the lower-left corner
with nothing flashy.

You get what you pay for.

This is egroup's doing, stripping all extra copies of ads (supposedly,
anyway.) and putting the ad up at the top of the message where you would be
sure to see it. Your friendly moderators had nothing to do with this

Hi,
There is a way to not have messages at the top of the mail. I think it is
$60/year. If we pay $60/year, e-groups provides with an account with no
advertisements. Do you think, it would be a possibility that everybody pitch
in $1 every year that will make up for the no-ad option from e-groups. That
way we don't have to see the advertisements and can just have the mail that
we need. This is just what I found out from another list that I am
subscribed to through egroups.

Thanks
Laxmi.

P.S.: Now available for any custom programming work at a nominal rates. If
needed contact off-line.

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,
please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to
www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups,
choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above
will work the next time you try it.)
We all know it is not the doings of the moderator. Can we take this list
else where? Anyone out there willing to host the list? How many members are
there? This list really is becoming a joke and if ads remain on the top of
every message I will no longer subscribe to it.

Maybe Epicor should kick in the $60.00...............................

I hate it. But what is funny, my emails from another egroups does not have
the adds at the top. I wonder why Vantage is at the top and Outlook
isn't!!!!!!

Question, now we have ads on the TOP of every e-mail we receive from the
one-list? Is this a result of the policy to strip all the garbage off of
replies? Anyone else annoyed by this new format?
