Advanced Project Billing

Hey Gang!

My company picked up Advanced Project Billing a few weeks ago, but i can’t tell for the life of me it is actually installed and ready to go! Here is what i have in the licensing tab under company config:

I agree with @jkane. You can test it by trying to add a billing type other than Customer Shipment or Milestone in Project Entry.

Me too but the EpicorProjectxxx ones look interesting and they are false. Got a menu item for APM Project Ledger?

I found out that it is the following:
Epicor Project Accounting
Epicor Project Contract Billing
Epicor Project Subcontract Billing

Might be. I was using Projects before and that didn’t exist, but it is confusing because Epicor has an add-on that has a similar name for CostPlus, and other “advanced” billing. Meanwhile, what is called Advanced Billing here is included in basic Project Management modules in other ERP systems. For example, ASK/MANMAN (written in FORTRAN) allowed Project Journal entries and a very simple project tracking (no work breakdown structure) in the base package. We’d hardly call it Advanced in the 90s. :rofl:

So, yes. It’s confusing and I apologize for adding to it.

I haven’t looked a Project Management since E9. Was running all the menus on Sunday and saw Build WBS Phase Analysis. Can’t recall seeing that before…
