After using Get details , the Revision number is not update

You're looking for non-standard behavior. The standard behavior is for the skilled planner doing the work to remember to flip the part rev field in job entry if they use details from another rev in the job.

It is probably not a horribly complex customization to automate - but it would require passing variables (perhaps thru a ud field in a common table to get details and job entry) from the Get details subprocess app back to job entry.

You'd need to turn rtacing on when performing the action to learn what events are available to trigger the custom behavior (and what tables are common that could act as the communication basis between the 2 apps).

Probably are some BPM wizards out there that could do the same (perhaps more reliably) with a BPM.

yes, the job is linked to a sale order and after the getdails,
the revision number is still to the old value that I wanted to replace.

In job entry, to change a revision, I

go in the menu and I click on getDetails. a new window appears and I select in a grid the line corresponding to the new revision number that I want. I click on ok to finish.
After this, the field 'revision number' in the 'job entry' window(jobHead.RevisionNum) is not updated automatically.

We need to change the revision number manually in the job entry window and click on save. The problem is that this can cause problems if the operator forgets to change the revision number after the 'GetDetails'.
Does some one has a solution for that please?

many thanks.
Is the job linked to a sales order? If it is job entry will want to use the
Revision specified in the order. (I am using version 6.1.)
