Alert Errors in the Alert log

In your System Management folder, there is a program called "Global Alert
Message Error Log". It will tell you what the trouble is. As long as there are
records in there, you'll get that message.

It offen means that vantage wasn't able to send some alert messages
you can check this by the menupath "system management"->"global alert
message error log"
