Allocated Inventory

If this continues to elude you. Depending or your version you may want
to run the database conversion 6430 (Recalculate Part Onhand/Allocated
summaries. Our allocations get messed up every time we load a patch. I
have to manually run the conversion (can be run with active users in the
DB). I have submitted a request to support to have this run as a
mandatory conversion for each patch.

You might want to take the 5 minutes to run it and check again.

It has been so long since I thought about the allocated inventory.
Today I
have one that does not add up, and I cannot remember where Vantage goes
to
see the allocated amount.

I have none that are issued to jobs, many jobs open for the part .
Only a
portion shows allocated.

Total = 31
Allocated = 8
Available = 23

I understand that math, but not where that 8 came from.
