I dont see this a deal breaker for Epicor, allowing their Customers to be allowed to save a Customization as a Verticalization, without being a partner. Ease our Customization efforts! Give us this.
Technically you can already do it by modifying the record type, but why not offer it out of the box with the ICE Tools. Its just a layer type
