Allow Net Tcp through Firewall

I was wondering of anyone has received the error “Allow Net Tcp through firewall” while setting up an Application Server:

All firewalls are turned off on the servers. I’m looking at the Nic cards to see if there’s a problem there, but so far I’m coming up with zip.

temporarily turn on your firewall when deploying the app server. For whatever reason it can’t validate something if the firewall is off and it has a fit. I found it’s just easier not to fight it. I simply do it through services.

thank me with a solution solved :slight_smile: It’s annoying, cuz half the time i forget to turn it on because I’m in a hurry and have to run it thru again.
