Hello,

Our company has 3 plants: A, B, C

A creates Transfer Orders for B and C to request that parts be made
and sent to A.

Everything is working fine when we create a Transfer Order that asks
B to make parts and send them to A, but when we create a Transfer
order that asks C to do this, jobs don't get created.

We have narrowed it down to a resource group problem. The resource
groups in all our parts correspond to resources at plant B. In order
for the Transfer Order to work properly and create jobs in plant C,
we have to go into each part and change the resource group to one
that is in plant C. Then, if we want to create that part in plant B,
we have to change it back.

Is there a simple way to allow parts to be created in multiple
plants without having to change the resource group every time? I was
thinking of some way to share resource groups, but perhaps there is
a better answer.

Thank you.
Do you have each of the plants added to each part in Part Master?

Thank you.
