Altering new crystal reports so user's don't have to have progr

We have many complied reports that our users run. None have asked for a
password. Below is a summary of what I did for each report.

1. Create report
2. Save report
3. Refresh data
4. Click on Compile
5. Create shortcut to exe file

This has worked for us since about 2004 and have not had any issues. We
are on CR 8.5.

report for sales and ran it through the Report Distribution Expert. I've
got a nice exe file that opens but when you hit refresh it still asks
for the progress password.



Isn't there a way to circumvent this password option so users can
refresh data quickly? I think there is but I don't have my notes handy.
Do I also need to compile the report? Could someone refresh my memory
with a quick summary?
